I called Blue Cross for a quote and they said they would not provide ANY medical coverage for my 14-year old daughter who sees a psychiatrist for anxiety and who takes prescription medicine for the anxiety. I can’t find anything that IS covered. $430 per month and they charged me $270 to squrit water in my ear to remove ear wax.

Presently, we have some 40 million people without insurance and many of these people take up valuable time and space at out emergency rooms. My husband lost his job and we’re down to nothing. I know it isn’t a good idea to cash out a pension but we have to feed the kids somehow. We’ve thought about cashing out his pension from his former employer but are worried the kids will lose medical insurance (medicaid) and the only job he has been able to find (his current job) is only part time so no medical insurance is offered. We live in Minnesota.
