Let’s face it, here in the U.S. the medical insurance premiums for group health coverage is rising faster than inflation. As a result, a lot of companies are either reducing the levels of coverage in order to offset the cost of insurance, increasing the deductible, and or increasing the cost to the employees for the insurance premiums.

The problem is that insurance companies have no incentive to reduce insurance premiums. They continue to get record profits and this issue is out of control.

How do we get the insurance companies to decrease insurance premiums to the rate of inflation, or better yet, start reducing the cost of premiums for a change?

The answer to this question probably seems simple; however, for me it’s not. I don’t have medical insurance of any kind, and lately i’ve had the feeling that something’s not right with my body. I want to go to the doctor but at the same time I am scared it might be something thats going to leave me 1,000′s and 1000′s of dollars in debt. I really don’t have a lot of extra money right now and i’m trying to go to school. I don’t know what to do. On the one hand I want to go to the Doctor and find out what’s going on, but on the other hand, I don’t have the money to pay for it even if something IS going on. What do I do? I feel very helpless.

my boyfriend has these painful migraines constantly and he refuses to do anything about it because he does not have medical insurance. he also has high blood pressure. so where can he go around the san bernardino county in california to see a doctor where it wont cost a lot?
