Next thing, she'll be asking for someone to wipe her **** for her.

In View of the long days, and accompanying studies, medical students need the ride from the hostel to the hospital and back when the
shift is over. Comparing notes between students while on the bus, might help another student better understand the topics being studied. The better the students rate, the better the University ratings. The surety of
transportation of students without other means of transportation, also compliments new students selecting "our" University, as it shows
we are of the highest quality of education, and every minute learning at our University counts.

Just like a business, a University will necessarily pass it's cost on to the consumer (student). It will be less expensive for your friend to hire a car to take her to the hospital than to hire a bus.

I don't know. Do they provide transportation for other students for educational purposes? Why can't she get herself there, does she not have car or bike? Is it too far to walk?

The cost of gas may also be factored into their decision as well, although I am sure gas isn't cheap for her either!

If they are doing it for other students for educational purposes, then yes.

No, they are not required to provide the transportation to and from any of the other classes required to obtain a medical degree. This is no different.
